MERGING COMPUTER SCIENCE AND PSYCHIATRY TO BETTER UNDERSTAND TIC DISORDERS

This research is designed to develop a software tool able to detect (see) and count the top five, most common tics. We'll compare software versus humans accurately read tic and non-tic behavior.

We'll make a short, 5 minute video of adolescents sitting in a comfortable chair, behaving as they normally do. Adolescents and their parents will also complete research questionnaires.

To qualify for this research study:

The adolescent must be 8-18 years old with our without a tic disorder

One parent will need to be present to complete research questionnaires

Be available for approximately 45-60 minutes
